Scotland go in search of their first win over Spain for 39 years on Tuesday night at Hampden Park.
Steve Clarke’s side got their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign off to a successful start over the weekend with a 3-0 win over Cyprus, as John McGinn scored the opener before a late brace from Scott McTominay sealed victory.
This though is a huge step up, against a Spain side who brushed aside Norway and are strong favourites to top the group. Luis de la Fuente is now in charge of the national side after Luis Enrique’s departure following the World Cup, and the new boss will be confident of making it two from two as Spain travel to Scotland.
